Lavender is truly, “the friend of the people”. It is
the one great all round defender, champion and tonic
for all reasons and for all seasons, always bright,
always helpful, always uncompromisingly proactive,
practical and helpful.
There once was a village in a beautiful valley and
people lived there happily. But it so happened that
vagrants came to the valley and the village, and they
settled in, bringing with them lawless ways, a total
disregard for anyone and everyone, cutting down fruit
trees for fires they did not care to keep from spreading
to the fields, defiling everything and spreading chaos,
confusion and fear wherever they went.
The people in the village did not know what to do, but
one day, a champion arrived and he got very angry when
he saw what had happened to the once beautiful valley.
Sword drawn and flashing high and hard, he drove the
vagrants out, and out, and further still; he put the
fear of God in them so they would never dare return. |
